OD Interventions and Teams

  • 23 Feb 2012

Come join the BCODN’s very own Teresa Comey, Principal of Influencing Leadership and current BCODN President, for an evening of exploring OD interventions and teams.

Often an OD consultant is contacted because there is a problem with a team; the team isn’t working well, there are interpersonal conflicts, the team is not productive, or morale may be low. We may be invited to do ‘team building.’ We may be asked to sort out the team issues, or deal with the problem team member. In considering all of this; what is the most appropriate OD intervention for a team? Where do we start?

Organizational Development is a planned effort with the goal to increase organizational effectiveness and health. Through planned interventions, at different levels of an organization, OD consultants seek to create change and solve problems toward improving productivity and employee engagement.

During this interactive session we will:

  • Explore OD interventions at multiple levels in the organization including the individual, team, large group and organizational
  • Explore multiple OD approaches and how they can support the team
  • Answer the question: is there a “best” place to start?
