The 5 Essential Conversations: Voice, Vibe, and Value in Organizational Development

  • 15 Mar 2012

Based on a decade of research into the qualities of teamwork experienced in  a jazz group’s performance Brian Fraser, lead provocateur of Jazzthink, has identified 5 essential conversations that create SMARTer teamwork.  It’s teamwork that inspires personal passion, builds positive relationships, makes wise decisions, provides robust support, and generates continuous improvement.

Mastering these conversations will increase the positive influence of your voice, improve the vibe you animate, and enhance the value you contribute as a practitioner of Organizational Development.

During the session, participants will have an opportunity to design and test one or more of these conversations.

By the end of this dialogical session, you will have had the opportunity to:

  • Learn the 5  conversations that create SMARTer teamwork
  • Review the attitudes and behaviours best suited to producing these conversations
  • Imagine how you might use these conversations to enhance your influence

Brian Fraser is lead provocateur at Jazzthink, a company that uses the wit, wisdom, and workings of jazz to inspire SMARTer teamwork.  He is a speaker, writer, and coach with teams and their leaders.  Find out more about how Jazzthink can complement your work at www.jazzthink.com.
