One of the goals of the BCODN this coming year is to strengthen our ties to
the business community. To help in fulfilling this goal we plan on holding
sessions of interest beyond the OD community to include your clients and others
in the broader business community.

Please join us on October 28th, 5:00 – 7:30, when BCODN will hold the first
of several sessions designed to be of interest to those beyond OD or HR practitioners.

We encourage you to bring a guest to meet some of the recipients of the 2004
BC Psychological Association’s Award for psychologically healthy workplaces.

We have invited several of the award winners to talk about what it takes to
create workplaces that foster psychological well-being among employees. Discover
why they bother, what it takes, and the trials and tribulations each has experienced
in creating these workplaces.

At press time we had three recipients confirmed with another three in the
wings.

Here’s your chance to bring those who question the value of enlightened work
practices. The night will include a panel discussion and opportunities to question
panel members. Liven up the conversation and ask them how their efforts contribute
to the bottom line. You and your guests might be surprised.

See you on Oct. 28th.
