We are happy to welcome back Dr.
Bill Bergquist to work with our network. Bill is the President of the Professional
School of Psychology in Sacramento and last led a weekend workshop here
on Bowen Island to help our members develop their consulting skills.

This time Bill will be talking about Organization Development and The Post
Modern Organization. As he says: “Organizations today are poised on the edge
of chaos – caught in the unpredictable, ambiguous postmodern era where the
systems of the past no longer apply and the rules of the future have not yet
been made clear.” Bill will talk about 5 key dimensions of life in post modern
organizations: size and complexity, mission and boundaries, leadership, communication,
and capital and worker values.

Please Note: Bill will be staying around after the meeting to make a brief
presentation about the Doctorate in Organizational Psychology Cohort Program
that will be starting here in Vancouver in the spring of next year (2004).

• If you are driving on Oak Street toward Richmond from downtown Vancouver,
  please turn left at 28th Avenue at the large, yellow Children’s Emergency
  sign.
• If you are driving on Oak Street toward downtown Vancouver from Richmond,
  please turn right at 28th Avenue at the large, yellow Children’s Emergency
  sign.
• Enter grounds at parking booth on 28th Avenue. (Not at the entrance on
  Oak Street)
• Please note as you are entering the grounds that the Ambulatory Care Building
  is the 4 storey building right in front of you.
• Parking rates are: Hourly $1.75 per hour (or prepay to use the express
  exit)/ $2.00 per hour (pay on exit), Daily Maximum $9.00.
• Teaching rooms are located on the lower Level KO. Main entrance to building
  is opposite the Shaughnessy Building. Elevators are almost directly in front
  of entrance. Take the elevator down one level to level O. Exit elevator to
  your left, take the first left down the hallway. You will find the KO-155
  room 3/4 down hall on your right.
