Principal, Pallas Leadership. www.pallasleadership.com
Gain a fresh perspective on meeting facilitation at this interactive workshop for people involved in running meetings, facilitating groups or facilitating teamwork.
Learn how emotional energy directly impacts meetings and their outcomes. Discover how basic systems principles (90/10, 80/20, 50/50) guide the meeting process.
For those new to the facilitator role, this introduction to key concepts will give you a basic understanding of what to watch for when facilitating meetings. And for those seasoned in meeting facilitation, this workshop gives you an opportunity to revisit concepts you practice from a new and thought-provoking perspective.
Christine will work with you to uncover ways to engage meeting participants fully, to guide the conversation and ideas generation, to lead participants to identifying solutions themselves, and to create three-part action plans.
Workshop objectives:
· Describe the role of a facilitator
· Describe the impact of emotional energy and systems principles
· Practice using systems principles and identifying emotional energy in a facilitation exercise
· Build confidence as a facilitator
· Have fun
This introduction to Systems-based Meeting Facilitation forms the foundation to a broader exploration of the union of these key principles with key tactics for running meetings and strategic planning sessions. For more information about gaining a deeper understanding of these principles and tactics, and putting them into practice, email christine@pallasleadership.com.
