BCODN

Enhance your OD practice: become a volunteer consultant.

Want to apply OD principles, tools, strategies and techniques to real work experiences?
Ever wondered if OD consulting is your calling? Are you a passionate supporter of a non-profit group and would you like to see them benefit from some OD support?

Emerging OD practitioners can volunteer to work on organizational issues with non-profit groups in the BC Lower Mainland.  Mentors (senior consultants) provide coaching and other support as you collaborate with a client on a two- to four-month long project.

While doing real work in real time,

  • Gain exposure to OD principles and methodologies like Action Learning or World Cafe
  • Serve as a peer coach and consultant to colleagues
  • Increase your self awareness
  • Understand small group process
  • Develop facilitation skills
  • Learn principles of influence and change

BCO clients are non-profit organizations who:

  • Need outside help with workplace issues
  • Lack the financial resources to hire a consultant
  • Are willing to work with a junior OD consulting team under the directions of an experienced consultant
