Members of the Organization Development Network are practitioners representing a range of professional roles in a wide variety of organizations. About half the members are employed by private industry, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. The other half operate their own consulting firms, engage in private practice, and/or teach.
For over 50 years Organization Development (O.D.) has pioneered and employed strategies to maximize the effectiveness of human resources in corporate, non-profit, and community organizations.
The British Columbia Organization Development Network (BCODN) provides programmed services for our stakeholders: corporate and non-profit organizations, senior practitioners of O.D., independent consultants providing O.D. services, and students of O.D.
Our Mission
To advance the Value, Contribution, Understanding, Practice, Impact and Experience of Organization Development within the following three integrated communities in British Columbia

- The BC Business Community, and
- The Not-for-profit sector
Our Vision
- Creating awareness of the value of OD within the various communities in the Province of British Columbia.
- Supporting individuals in their practice of OD, and
- Being a learning organization exploring new OD models and best practices.
